Historic Charm Meets Modern Chic: A Stunning Wedding at Milwaukee's Villa Terrace Decorative Arts Museum
Nestled on a bluff overlooking Lake Michigan, the Villa Terrace Decorative Arts Museum is the perfect blend of old-world charm and modern elegance. This historic Italian Renaissance-style villa provides a stunning backdrop for a romantic wedding, and this celebration was nothing short of breathtaking.
With a minimalist yet chic design, the wedding decor let the natural beauty of the venue shine. Soft, dainty bud vases with assorted pink ranunculus, coral charm peony, lavender iris, and peach garden roses decorated the reception space, adding a pop of color to the villa’s warm, historic tones. The lush and serene gardens offered an intimate setting for the couple’s first look photos and family portraits.
Guests enjoyed an unforgettable evening filled with love, laughter, and good vibes all around. As the evening came to an end, the couple made a grand exit in true style, driving off in a classic 560 SL Mercedes-Benz. This wedding was a perfect blend of historic elegance, modern romance, and meaningful personal touches.

Chic Minimalist White, Whimsy Wedding Flowers at Blackhawk Country Club in Madison
We’re loving the return to chic minimalism and monochromatic white florals. White blooms have a way of setting the tone without trying too hard. Whether you're planning your dream wedding, hosting a dinner party, or curating an intimate brunch, white florals set the perfect tone for a minimalistic and sophisticated atmosphere.
For Bridget and Andrew’s micro-wedding, we focused on locally grown dahlias paired with delicate white ranunculus and Playa Blanca roses. Centerpieces were arranged in matte white ceramic vessels, with added height from airy stems of Queen Anne’s Lace to keep the compositions light and natural.
We also provided simple taper candle decor and pleated glass votives, which complimented the crisp white linens, silver flatware, and white dinnerware. As the sun set, the gentle glow of the candlelight made the space feel undeniably romantic. The beauty of minimalistic styling is that is keeps the overall aesthetic feeling more intentional and effortless.

A Chic Contemporary Wedding at the Overture Center for the Arts with Muted Hues and Café Latte Roses
From our first consultation, it was clear that Kelsey and Zack had an incredible energy and a strong sense of trust in the process. They came in with a clear vision, but were also open to letting us guide the floral design, which always leads to the best results. When couples trust our experience and knowledge of flowers, it allows us to do what we do best and bring their vision to life in a way that feels authentic and intentional.
Their design direction leaned chic and minimal, with a soft, neutral color palette. To keep the look from feeling flat, we introduced an earthy café latte rose for contrast and warmth. That subtle pop added depth while still staying true to the refined, muted aesthetic they were drawn to.
Below is a look at the floral varieties we used throughout the day:
Focal Flowers: Cafe Latte Rose, Ranunculus, Quicksand Rose, Playa Blanca Rose
Gesture Flowers: Campanula, Lisianthus, Carnation, Snapdragon, Spirea, Stock
Filler & Foliage: Blueberry Bush, Gypsophila, Variegated Pittosporum, Leather Leaf, Smilax
